The Juniors Tigers offer 10 age divisions from AUSKICK, U9, U11, U11G, U13, U13G, U15, U15G, U17 AND U17G covering ages 5 until 17 years. We have 4 girls only teams, that said girls can play mixed up to U13. The U15 and U17 are girls or boys only. AUSKICK, U9 and U11G are development divisions i.e. no score, ladder, finals. Players are placed in a team based on calendar year 1 Jan to 31 Dec. i.e. if turning 16 or 17 in 2021 then play U17. The actual number of teams in the club depends upon the player registrations with 16/18 players on the field and squads of 22/24 players. AFL has an even up policy when playing teams of different sizes.
FIXTURE
The competition fixture is loaded by AFL South Coast 2-3 weeks prior to round 1. Nominally we play 16 rounds and 3 finals per season. 8 of the games will be at home. Specific game details can be found on the AFLSC fixture and will be provided via Team App. Team App Events for each team games are disseminated on a weekly basis by team managers for which players can RSVP so coaches and managers know who can play for game planning and submission of official team sheets.
